What should I bring?

Do I need a fishing license?

If you are 16 or order, YES! A 1 day out-of-state license can be purchased for $25. It is good for 24 hours. You can purchase your license online or at the Gustavus Library once you arrive.

Where will we meet?

Natalie will meet you at the dirt parking lot in front of the Gustavus City Hall. If you are coming from the airport, turn right on the dirt road just after the Salmon River Bridge and city hall will be on your left. If you are coming from Glacier Bay National Park, turn left just before the bridge and and city hall will be on your left.

How will I get there?

Most lodges and inns in Gustavus provide transportation. However, if this is not an option you can make arrangements for Natalie to pick you up or you can call Strawberry Taxi at 907-697-2155.

Is gratuity included?

No, gratuity is not included in the price of your trip.

What is the cancellation policy?

There is no cancellation penalty up to 48 hours before you trip. If you cancel within 24-48 hours you must pay 50% of your total trip price and if you cancel within 24 hours you must pay 100% of your trip price.

Where should I stay?

Wild Alaska Inn: Wild Alaska Inn has an excellent location – close to the National Park and the town. Both are easy to cycle to using their free bikes. The Inn provides airport and ferry dock transfers as well as transportation for any activities or tours they book for their guests including kayaking, whale-watching, fishing, and Glacier Bay Tours. Breakfast is included at no extra charge. Dinners are available upon request for an additional charge.

The Annie Mae Lodge: This is a great place to stay if you want to stay at a small, family-run lodge that can provide 3 delicious meals/day. The lodge is located just outside of “town”.
